Artist's Statement

Art is something that is utterly essential for my survival. It serves as a productive outlet for all my negative emotions and psychotic hatreds. The objective behind most of my creations is relatively simple; I am trying to find ways to get people to acknowledge the parts of life that most would be more comfortable ignoring.  I look for ways to beautify things that are not pretty. I would like to trick my viewers into liking things that are otherwise quite horrible. My art is a manifestation of confusion, pain, haunting past experience, and playful malevolence all lumped together in order to instill a mixture of feelings in the viewer that will hopefully be significant enough to convince them to simply think. Ultimately my art is the best reaction that I can have to life and the environment that I live in.
